PORTRAITURE
A Better Likeness than a Photograph!
ESTIMATED FEES
Marianna works in pastels paints. Some of the worlds most renown works, including Edward Munch’s The Scream, are painted with pastels. Under normal conditions, pastel paintings can last centuries.
Most portraits are based on reference photos. If the subject is living, some live settings may be required.
Head and Shoulders $2000
Three Quarter (Including Hands) $3500
Full Length $4000
Other sizes available request.
Listed prices reflect the fee for one individual with an abstract background. Complex backgrounds are charged an additional 25%. Each additional subject in the painting will be charged the original base price discounted 30%. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is due upon commission. Currently, completion of a portrait can be expected 3-6 months once the reference photo has been selected. Fees do not include framing, shipping or sales tax. Reimbursement for travel expenses may apply, and will be discussed at the time that the work is commissioned.
